Job specification

• Assess and prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures, ensuring their understanding and comfort.
• Administer medications and intravenous lines as prescribed, closely monitoring vital signs.
• Assist the cardiologist or interventionalist during catheterization procedures, including monitoring patient hemodynamics and providing necessary supplies.
• Operate specialized equipment, such as fluoroscopy machines and angiography equipment, ensuring patient safety and image quality.
• Continuously monitor patients' vital signs, ECG readings, and hemodynamic parameters during procedures and provide post-procedure care, including monitoring patients in the recovery area.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, interventionalists, radiologic technologists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution
• An Active California Registered Nurse License
• 1 year of Nursing experience
• Basic Life Support by American Heart Association (AHA)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
