Leidos is excited to offer a position for a Logistics Analyst. Join us in making a significant impact by supporting the Sweet Tea facilities service contract mission.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyze and develop logistics plans to enhance product workflow affecting production, distribution, and inventory for trades, custodial, and grounds care functions.
- Create and review procedures for effective distribution and inventory management to optimize production control and cost efficiency.
- Ensure rational distribution and delivery based on analysis reports and tracking records.
- Engage in day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities.
- Prepare and forward requisition documents to relevant sources.
- Maintain inventory control and track the status and demand for purchased and stocked materials.
- Monitor requisition statuses in the document register or shared drive, providing regular updates to team members.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of document registers and assess appropriate follow-up actions.
- Prepare monthly reports related to inventory of materials requiring Safety Data Sheets (SDS); including HAZMAT data for chemical products.
- Maintain stock control levels and initiate reorders for necessary parts.
- Oversee requisitioning, receiving, storage, issuance, segregation, preservation, and inventory of equipment and parts.
- Ensure accountability of equipment and manage supply stockage.
- Provide support for NSAG systems on site, delivering prompt reaction technical support in potentially hazardous environments.
- Be capable of maneuvering in small spaces and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrate knowledge in shipping, receiving, storing, issuing stock control measures, and accounting procedures.
- Establish and keep accurate stock records and documents such as inventory, material control, and supply reports.
- Review and verify received quantities against contracts, invoices, purchase requests, and shipping documents.
- Manage the unloading, unpacking, counting, itemizing, and storage of incoming supplies and equipment.
- Construct bins, shelving, and other storage aids to optimize the kitting for work scheduler processes.
- Streamline and standardize the collection of program inventory data to support the Just in Time (JIT) inventory control process.
- Enhance the quality and accuracy of performance, cost, and parts data through improved maintenance management.
- Assist in the deployment of personnel and equipment.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma with at least 1 year of logistics experience; or equivalent college/military training in Logistics with 1+ years of experience.
- Fluency in English, capable of reading, writing, and comprehending logistics documentation.
- Proficient in operating office equipment such as computers, scanners, and copiers.
- Familiarity with basic logistics, supply, and maintenance shop operations.
- Knowledge of packing and shipping requirements.
- Basic competence in MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS).
- Ability to utilize existing logistics database programs (e.g., MAXIMO) for collecting maintenance, supply, and logistics information.
- Understanding of the Federal Supply System.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $42,000 - $65,000
