They will join our 3 existing fellowship trained Interventional Radiologist and offer interventional services at PSH: Lancaster Medical Center and St. Joseph Medical Center. These are 2 non trauma community hospitals. Call is IR only and is considered light and the expected frequency is 1 in 4. There is a generous call stipend available as well.nnCurrently the IR section performs: Biopsies, Drains, IVC Filter placements and Removal, GI/GU work, Ports and Tunneled line placements. There is potential to expand into dialysis, spine and venous interventions, as well as chemoembolization, thermal embolization and radioembolization.
