The Division is integral to the care of trauma patients, athletes at all levels of skill, patients with arthritis, total joint replacements, and back pain, as well as those with bone and soft tissue tumors. The Division provides consultative service for the Pittsburgh Penguins, Pittsburgh Steelers, and the athletic teams of the University of Pittsburgh, as well as local colleges and high schools.nnThe faculty are actively involved in cutting-edge research in MSK imaging and clinical outcomes studies. Clinical and research relationships with other departments, including the Department of Orthopedics and the Division of Rheumatology, create a dynamic and robust research environment. Multidisciplinary conferences broaden the learning and teaching experience for our trainees and faculty.nnDuties for this position will consist of a mix of clinical, teaching, and academic responsibilities. The position will be based at UPMC Presbyterian, other UPMC hospital locations, and various outpatient sites, including the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex, which opened in August 2015. Applicants must be board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Radiology and eligible for unrestricted licensure in Pennsylvania.
