Position Overview: As a Registered Nurse Resource Nurse, you will play a vital role in coordinating and implementing nursing care in a timely and accurate manner, while also mentoring and supporting our nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide and coach nursing staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Provide hands-on assistance and support in patient care delivery.
• Mentor staff to enhance patient-centered care and individual care plans.
• Serve as a clinical resource for decision-making and care skills.
• Promote an environment that fosters staff development and competency.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and families.
• Identify educational needs and collaborate with the Education Department for training.
• Maintain a professional appearance that reflects our commitment to cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice in Tennessee.
• Degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• CPR/BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Arrhythmia certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum of five years' experience in med-surg and/or critical care nursing.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand and work for up to twelve hours a day.
• Ability to lift up to 250 lbs with assistance.
• Effective communication skills in English.
