Job Description Summary
Reporting to the Senior Director, Events, this position will play a pivotal role in in shaping and managing Enterprise's strategic event program. Each year, Enterprise produces or participates in nearly 1,000 events, with approximately one hundred planned and executed by our centralized events team. This role supports the planning and execution of both in-person and hybrid events, while serving as the lead for our soon-to-launch event management platform, Event Central.

The Events Manager will be responsible for:
Event Central Platform Management
Serve as the "product owner" of Event Central-built on the Cvent platform- and oversee the platform's day-to-day usage, triage support requests, assist staff with troubleshooting, and manage overall vendor relationships. Responsibilities include:
- Building and modifying templates (e.g., emails, web pages, etc.).
- Reviewing, testing, and sending event emails for large-scale events.
- Developing and conducting platform training for new users.
- Managing platform updates and enhancements to ensure seamless user experiences.
Event Management
- Event Management
Provide support for a variety of events ranging from board meetings and galas to roundtables and webinars. This includes: - Researching venues, administering RFPs, and managing vendors.
- Offering on-site support for in-person events.
- Coordinating event logistics and handling general administrative tasks.
- CEO Roadshows
Manage the planning and logistics of CEO market visits and roadshows, interacting closely with senior leadership. Duties include: - Researching venues, securing transportation and accommodations.
- Negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships.
- Ensuring smooth coordination for high-visibility events that involve direct CEO participation.
- All-Staff Retreat Management
In collaboration with the events team and executive sponsors, support the planning and execution of the all-staff retreat, Enterprises' flagship in-person employee engagement event. Responsibilities include: - Participate in the planning and execution of event logistics, programming, attendee management, and vendor coordination related to the event.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience planning and executing in-person and virtual events reaching a diverse range of audiences.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience planning and executing events using the Cvent platform, including updating/building templates and reports.
- 3+ years of experience serving as 'product owner' for an event management platform preferably Cvent.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with experience using marketing analytics tools and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
- Customer service mindset with the ability to triage and/or resolve incoming Cvent support requests per Service Level Agreements.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and messaging for diverse audiences.
- Experience working with remote teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders as all levels of the organization
- Willingness and excitement to travel as needed and work occasional evenings and weekends to support events and initiatives

The base salary for this role is $85,000 to $95,000, depending on level of skills and experience.
The salary range for this position is represented by the low and high end of the range for the amount to be paid for the position. Salaries paid at Enterprise will vary based on factors that may include skills, education, location, experience, and performance.
