Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM, Rotating Days/Evenings/Nights
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: Minimum of 2 years
License: Active State RN License
Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred
Must-Have: Ability to read and interpret tele strips
Job Description:
- Work in a 32-bed Ortho/Neuro Med/Surg unit, with patient care responsibilities across two 16-bed units.
- Provide care for elective orthopedic and neuro/surgical patients, fractures, neuro patients, and other medical overflow patients.
- Rotate shifts as needed, with day rotators covering shifts between 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., or 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Night positions do not rotate as frequently.
- Experience with neuro assessment skills and telemetry competency required.
- Maintain a clinician-to-patient ratio of 1:4 or 1:5 during day and evening shifts, and 1:5 or 6 for night shifts.
- Collaborate with a team to ensure quality patient care using the EPIC EMR system.
- Must be prepared to float to applicable units on request.
