Here, you will make an impact by:nnYour primary focus is analyzing current logistics network, designing optimized product flow paths and implementing improved product flow solutionsnnDevelop and implement strategies to optimize transportation routes and improve cost efficiency and service levelsnnLeverage your expertise in advanced analytics and modeling tools to simulate and evaluate network scenarios.nnIdentify, analyze, and lead continuous improvement projects that streamline logistics processes, reduce costs, and elevate our transportation capabilitiesnnCollaborate closely with cross functional teams, including Supply Chain, IT, Operations to ensure seamless integration of transportation optimization solutions and alignment with broader business goals.nnAnalyze complex data, develop innovative solutions, and manage large scale projects which will be critical to our success in meeting evolving business needsnnYour Skills and ExpertisennTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:nnBachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science and/or Supply Chain/Logistics field (Completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university.nnSeven (7) years of experience in network optimization within a distribution, supply chain or logistics environment in a public, private or military environment.nnTechnical Proficiency: Four (4) years’ experience in Supply Chain Network optimization tools such as Supply Chain guru, JDA strategist, Gurobi or Optilogic.nnAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:nnMaster’s degree (preferred)nnPower platforms knowledge (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)nnProficiency in AutoCAD, Lean Six Sigma, SQL, analytics and project management tools.nnProficiency in logistics software and systems (e.g., TMS, WMS, ERP, SAP).nnProblem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex systems and processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop innovative solutions to drive improvements.nnCommunication and Leadership: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and influence decision-making.
