71172BRnnJob Title:nnSOURCING SPECIALISTnnJob Discipline:nnSupply Chain ServicesnnPSA/Division:nnPRS HQnnJob Summary:nnThe Sourcing Specialist is responsible to implement sourcing plans and tactics to effectively manage the sourcing activities related to their assigned portfolio to maximize supplier performance (cost, quality, lead time) and support the business plan in the GeoUnit.nnRoles and Responsibilities:nnImplement sourcing plans with the goal of assuring specified quality, meeting required delivery times, and minimizing cost.nnDocument the performance of action plans and timelines for assigned sourcing projects.nnSelect a high-performance supply base for assigned portfolio, in accordance with a short-list of preferred suppliers defined by Category Managers.nnConduct requests for information, quotation, information, proposal (RFI/Q/P) and bidding processes, minimizing risk and maximizing value in terms of quality, delivery and cost.nnEvaluate current and prospective suppliers through supplier reviews, site visits and audits, in coordination with Supplier Quality teams, to assure supply capabilities, on-time delivery, quality and service.nnNegotiate prices and terms with suppliers to meet specified quality, delivery and cost objectives.nnExecute contract negotiation and development in coordination with Sourcing Manager and Contract Specialists.nnDrive the parts and process qualification in coordination with Supplier Quality teams.nnWork closely with Sourcing Manager or Sourcing Leader to guarantee supply for portfolios.nnIdentify opportunities and implement actions to continually reduce wasted time, money, and resources from assigned tasks.nnComply with Schlumberger and local procedures applicable to the job function.nnAutoReqId:nn71172BRnnMinimum Job Qualifications:nnBachelor’s degree in Engineering OR Supply Chainnn2-3 years of experience in Engineering/Manufacturing/Supply ChainnnMust have strong data analytics skills (e.g, excel, PowerBI), sound time management and Organizational SkillsnnThorough understanding of Purchasing/Procure-to-Pay methodologies & inter-personal skills to develop supplier relationshipsnnCandidate must be able to able to work and reside in the US without US visa sponsorship now or in futurennCandidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorshipnnDivision:nnPRS Production SystemsnnCity:nnShreveportnnState/Region/Province:nnLouisianannCountry:nnUnited StatesnnEmployment Status:nnREGULARnnTitle for Posting:nnSOURCING SPECIALISTnnDisclaimer:nnSLB is an equal employment opportunity employer. We are committed to offering fair and competitive pay aligned with each candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications, within the designated salary range for the role. Please note that the listed compensation and benefits apply only to successful candidates hired onto a local United States payroll. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000.
