Job Description: This position is responsible for providing skilled radiologic support in the Cath Lab specializing in heart function and anatomy and assuring radiation safety needs are met. Responsible for the operation of radiation safety and image management in the cath lab. Demonstrates the ability to scrub for all procedures in the Cath Lab while maintaining sterile technique at all times. Operates and understands functionality of IVUS and FFR. Demonstrate the ability to perform hemodynamic monitoring and documentation while assisting in the control room. Assists staff in dealing with patient preparation, patient education/instruction, and patient care support, etc. Demonstrates competency of proper technique of sheath removal and bleeding prevention. Demonstrate the ability to handle emergency situations during high-risk procedures.

EDUCATION: Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology required. Bachelors Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 1 year related experience and/or training in the Cath Lab preferred.
CERTIFICATE/LICENSE: required
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist)
- State of Nebraska RT (Radiologic Technologist) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Basic Arrhythmia Course
