DescriptionnnBlue Ridge Mountain Recovery Center has an opportunity in our detox/residential treatment center located in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to impact other human beings in such an AMAZING way that it changes their life forever. We have a current position available for a full time RN or LPN to work overnights.nnOur nurses are an integral part of our clinical team. A qualified candidate must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with the physicians, clinical and admissions staff as well as with clients and their families. This position requires the ability to be flexible and versatile in whatever is needed for the shift.nnResponsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:nnAssessing our Clients’ needs and performing health screenings, vital signs and basic first aid proceduresnnSafe preparation, administration & documentation of client medicationnnMonitoring & reporting our detox clients’ signs and symptoms of withdrawal and response to ordered medication & therapiesnnCommunicate effectively verbally and in writing with the medical, clinical and admissions staff as well as with clients, families and other callers.nnConsistently meets facility and regulatory training requirements by attending all mandatory staff meetings and training sessions as required.nnProjects a positive role model image for clients and colleaguesnnQualifications:nnEducation - Graduation from an approved nursing school.nnLicenses - Licensed as an LPN or RNnnExperience - Considerable knowledge/experience in nursing philosophy, policy, practices, and procedures.nnCertifications - CPR / Handle with Care required.
