Job Title: Senior Specialist, Technical Trainer Job Code: 17846 Job Location: Melbourne, Florida Job Description: The Technical Trainer provides ISR training and real-time mission support to our partners who use L3Harris products/systems in the field. The Technical Trainer is responsible for specialized tasks in product training and instructional design/development. The selected candidate will partner with engineering teams, relevant team members, and customer representatives to define the priorities for curriculum/courseware development and coordinate completion with product release dates and product support.
Essential Functions: - Provide global mission training and support to our Partners.
- Develop, organize, and deliver/present technical training products and related materials for customer training.
- Create, develop, plan, write, and edit operational, instructional, maintenance or procedures for paper, multimedia or web-based publication.
- Capture and edit software screens and system hardware photographs for use in technical training and technical documentation products
- Support field test of new software builds and operational performance verification of returned units
- Work closely with Mission Support to ensure partner satisfaction and problem resolution.
- Complete required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame
Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Ability to deliver course materials in a formal classroom setting or on-the-job.
- 6+ years operational experience in Tactical ISR and/or SIGINT.
Preferred Additional Skills: - Current TS/SCI highly preferred.
- Thorough understanding of Tactical ISR and SIGINT Operations - to include tactical operations on the ground and from the air. Cellular and Wi-Fi experience is preferred. RF experience required.
- At least 5 years' experience in the Department of Defense and/or Federal Law Enforcement communications is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work harmoniously in a team environment with government customers and other contractors.
- Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint to create effective training presentations.
- Experience using graphics software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, SnagIt.
- Experience using Microsoft Word to create effective technical documentation
