- Labor or Postpartum experience within the last year
- NRP, ACLS, BLS certifications
Job Description:
- Work in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Special Care Nursery
- Administer medications and manage labor processes, including cervical ripening and induction of labor
- Handle high-risk maternal patients and use fetal monitoring equipment
- Provide mother-baby care on postpartum and infant/special care nursery care
- Assist in C-sections & tubal ligations
- Support care for fetal demise patients
- Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment, fostering a positive and friendly atmosphere
- Work closely with charge nurses and other staff, adapting to fast-paced settings
- Follow unit guidelines and maintain high standards of nursing care
- Wear navy blue scrubs (travelers do not require a stork embroidered)
