Job Description

Provides quality, patient-centered care to patients in Pre-admission Testing in collaboration with and under the direction of the Director of Pre-Admission Testing or their designee. The responsibilities are performed primarily at one location, but the associate may be required to occasionally work at an alternate site. This position requires providing service to the following age population(s): toddler to frail elderly in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.nn___________________________________________________________________________nnEducation/Training/Experience:nnThe APCwill have successfully completed an accredited NP/PA program, will hold a Bachelorrsquo;s Degree, and will have training and experience commensurate with the expectations of the Chairman of the Department of Anesthesia. It is preferred that he/she will have experience in inpatient anesthesiology, and experience performing H amp; Ps, reviewing and acting on test results, and coordinating care with clinical colleagues.nnIt is required that he/she will maintain a current, unrestricted license to practice in the State of New Jersey, be currently certified and maintain certification as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant. CPR certification required.
