Position Summary
The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates (MFA) is seeking a full-time member in the Department of Dermatology for its satellite, community practices. The MFA is an independent, non-profit clinical practice group affiliated with The George Washington University. The Department of Dermatology faculty are committed to patient care; cohesive and focused team building; administrative leadership; resident, fellow, and medical student education; and scholarly activities that advance clinical medicine.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
As a Board-Certified Dermatologist at the GW Alexandria, Reston, or Bethesda locations, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dermatology services to patients in a clinical setting. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat various dermatological conditions, ensuring the best possible care for our patients.
Minimum Qualifications
  • State medical licensure in the jurisdiction of the GW locations.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in the field of Dermatology
  • Applicants with prior dermatology experience, as well as those who recently graduated from residency, are encouraged to apply
  • Strong clinical skills and expertise in diagnosing and treating dermatological conditions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is preferred.
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) and board certification in Dermatology.
