Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts within a 6-week timeframe. Large respiratory care department practicing at the top of their license. Travelers would work med / surg and ICU step-down units, possibly in the ED. Adolescents to Geriatrics. 35-45 ppd. EPIC experience is REQUIRED. Work Setting Experience Required: ER, Adult ICU, Med/Surg and ICU/Stepdown. Respiratory Care Experience Required: Airway management, Medication Administration, Vent Management, ABGs, O2 Therapy, Suction, Pulmonary Toileting, Nebulizer, BiPAP, CPAP, Vest Therapy, Meta- neb, PAP therapy, Heated High-flow. Bronchoscopes Preferred. Equipment Experience Required: Servo I, Survo U, Hamilton T1, V60, Night-time VPAP, we use Omni-labs and V30s. ABL90 ABG machine. Certifications and Licenses Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NC License and RRT Credentials. Preferred: NRP. UNIT WILL NOT ACCEPT CRT. Minimum Experience Required: 2 years. Unit Accepts first-time Traveler: YES. Orientation Details: 7a - 7p, then 7p-7a for night shift; 7p-7a RTs will need a few days of 7a-7p for orientation.
