ROP has built its reputation on running life-changing educational treatment programs that positively contribute to the community.nnWhat you’ll do :nnResponsible for developing, organizing and conducting the occupational therapy program to facilitate rehabilitation according to the IEP, DOE Regulations or under the direction of the Director of Education. In this capacity, you will be responsible for directing resident participation and selective tasks to restore, reinforce and enhance performance; facilitate the learning of those skills and functions essentially for adaptation and productivity, diminish or correct pathology, and to promote and maintain good health. This position does not have direct reports.nnTo be considered, you should :nn· Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect.nn· Possess a Master's Degree from an accredited college or university that has been approved through the American Occupational Therapy Association.nn. Minimum of 3 years' experience providing occupational therapy services.nn. Must be licensed by the state of Virginia as an occupational therapist and AOTCB certified.nn.
