This role will oversee all activities during Commissioning, Start-up, and Operations. The Steam Cracker Derivatives Commissioning Manager will manage and control Commissioning, Training and Maintenance activities and human resources in order to achieve desired targets in conformity with established cost, quality, schedules, process performance and loss prevention requirement defined by the Contract.nnResponsibilities:nnAccountable for the entire CSO (Commissioning, Start-up, and Operations) teamnnAct as the initial contact for Technical Managers when priority conflicts arisennEnsure that the overall manpower requirements for the complex are met to satisfy production objectivesnnOversee the development and implementation of the plant operation and maintenance proceduresnnEnsure that personnel and safety issues are given priority to maintain a safe and efficient working environmentnnContribute to and implement operational, administrative, cost control and loss prevention policy and proceduresnnImplement and enforce process safety management policy and procedures in respect of process safety information, hazard analysis, training, subcontractor compliance, plant integrity, work permits, emergency planning and response, incident investigation and compliance auditsnnDevelop the overall Commissioning and Start-Up logic to ensure a smooth turnover of all systems from Mechanical Completion (MC) to Ready for Start-up (RFSU)nnDevelop the Commissioning and Start-up Work SchedulennConfirm personnel participate in P&ID Reviews, HAZOP and Model Reviews identifying Operability, Maintainability and Start-up issues and concernsnnEnsure the implementation of the Completions Software, Philosophy and Team are in place to facilitate Project CompletionnnConfirm the Commissioning, Start-Up and 2 Year Spares are adequate, acquired, received and inventoried ready for usennDetermine the work prioritization, and ensure that operability and maintainability aspects of the Complex are addressed at all Phases and areas of the Complex (Utilities, Process, Offsites and Jetty)nnEnsure that systems and subsystems necessary to facilitate and expedite timely CSO Activities are identified and utilizednnGenerate PC&CSO Procedures, Operations and Maintenance ProceduresnnHave signatory authority/responsibility for any work permits at site on behalf of the companynnLiaise with the Client Commissioning Counterpart during the Engineering, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning Phases and achieves high level of team communication through routine meetingsnnQualifications:nnBachelor’s degree in engineering or related fieldnn10 + years of directly related experience, with an average experience of 20 + yearsnnIn lieu of formal education 18 + years of directly related experiencennProven ability working Commissioning, Start-up, and/or Operations on Steam Cracker Derivatives UnitsnnAromatics Extractions Units CSO experiencennPygas Hydrotreating Units CSO experiencennPlastics Units (Polyethylene, Polypropylene)nnCapable of reading and understanding Instrument, Electrical and P&ID drawingsnnHAZOP, SIMOPS and Technical ReviewsnnEffective leadership and communication skillsnnMust be highly proficient MS Office Applications e.g., Word, Excel, Project, Power PointnnMotivated self-starter with complex problem-solving abilitynnDecarbonization – Energy Transition – SustainabilitynnKBR Benefits?nnKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
