About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity to support our Marketing team as Head of Marketing based in Toronto. The Head of Marketing - Canada is a people first leader. This individual will need to be a strong, innovative, digital first, bold thinker, who works collaboratively and can manage well in a global matrix organization. Must be comfortable at the intersection of business, digital, analytics, marketing, culinary and communications. As a strong leader with a growth marketing background, and a passion for the Brand and industry, this person will hit the ground running in an engaged company culture, with a focus on the future. The Head of Marketing will be accountable for the development of effective and comprehensive marketing plans and strategies that deliver sales and traffic goals. The ideal candidate will have experience and success in all areas of marketing.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead the Canadian Marketing function.
Be an integral member of the Canadian Leadership Team (CLT).
Have strong business acumen enabling sound decisions to drive results/success.
Lead the development of the annual marketing plan, strategy, whilst working with the team, key stakeholders and agency partners.
Identify and plan differentiated and impactful, insight driven marketing strategies/materials that maximize Franchisee profits.
Build, manage and coach a high-performing marketing team.
Drive the implementation of marketing campaigns that meet business objectives and goals for the Canadian and Global Business.
Direct and support culinary and category to align product innovation with marketing and business objectives and ensure seamless execution of strategies.
Direct and support market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data for short- and long-term market forecasts and reports.
Direct and support communications to develop effective strategies and execution that result in improvements in brand health metrics and sales/traffic.
Work closely with the Operations team to engage with the Field, interpret feedback and pivot to business needs.
Drive agencies and partners and help to elevate the Canadian vision and expectations.
Manage the National Franchisee Marketing Board.
Work closely with Supply Chain, Manage the National Marketing budget and expenditures.
Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance across all marketing and communications channels.
Build long term relationships with key stakeholders across the Canadian and Global markets.
Have strong understanding of digital marketing, loyalty programs, e-commerce, social media platforms and emerging trends.

Qualifications (some examples listed below):
Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or another related field required.
MBA is a plus.
10 or more years of job specific experience.
3-5 years of supervisory experience.
Strong people leader, with the ability to motivate, scale and expand the capabilities of their team.
A self-starter, with demonstrated strategic thinking and cross functional leadership skills, and a track record of driving strong business results.
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills are required.
Enjoys working in a fast paced, roll up your sleeves environment.
Strong digital experience is key.
Creative and innovative vision.
Strong experience in analytics.
Preference for individuals who have held regional or national roles.
Foodservice, retail or franchise-model experience are beneficial.
