Job Description
Work Schedule : 100 % FTE, 40 hours/week. 8 or 10 -hour day shifts scheduled between the hours of 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM . Hours may vary based on the operational needs of department. Be part of something remarkable Help patients live their lives to the fullest. We are seeking an Occupational Therapist – Hand/Upper Extremity to: Provide treatment for hand and upper extremity patients of all ages and guide them through individualized rehabilitation programs. Efficiently communicate with physician referral sources and other UW Health departments for care coordination and collaboration. Work in collaboration with UW Health wellness staff to consider long term healthy living strategies beyond occupational therapy care. Work within a large, dynamic rehab team to continually provide exceptional patient and family centered care. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited, entry-level degree program (Baccalaureate or higher) in Occupational Therapy Required Credentialed by National Board of Certification for Occupational Therapists (NBCOT) Required Must obtain NPI number prior to starting the fellowship program Required Work Experience 1 year of prior relevant experience Preferred Licenses & Certifications Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months Required Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion UW Health is committed to being a diverse, inclusive and anti-racist workplace and is an Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action employer.
