You will be part of a high-performing product development team that works Application aware Data Management & Consistency Groups (AppDM & CG) storage solutions. Responsibilities Own the end to end test strategy for AppDM & CG features for the product Develop subject matter expertise in multiple technical areas of the product to understand its architecture and the design specifics. Developing test plans, designing test automation including library and test script development to validate your code to meet an expected bar of quality Grow into a test lead, to influence and drive technical improvements in the test infrastructure and best practices within the team Collaborate with peers within the team as well as cross-functional partner teams to resolve technical dependencies and work on joint efforts to validate features Job Requirements 5 years of automation development experience. Proficient in testing methodologies (functional/non-functional testing). Strong programming skills in Python is essential. Familiarity with Pytest, REST Apis and Postman Rest Clients is a plus. Deep understanding of code workflow, error handling, detecting issues, etc. Understanding of multi-threaded & multi process environments. Experience with Linux/FreeBSD development. Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Qtest is a plus. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential. Education A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, master’s degree is a plus Minimum of 6 years of software development experience, 7-10 years is preferred Strong aptitude for learning new technologies Compensation: The target salary range for this position is 138,780 - 195,030 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
