An exceptional healthcare leadership opportunity is now available for a Pharmacy Manager in a vibrant, growing community in eastern Texas In this role, you will work closely with the Pharmacy Services Director to oversee and manage the inpatient pharmacy department, ensuring smooth operations across all shifts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy operations, with particular experience in scheduling, as the department operates 24/7. You will play a critical role in coordinating staffing, maintaining efficient schedules, and holding your team accountable for their responsibilities. As the Pharmacy Services Manager Acute Care, you will manage various operational components such as payroll, time off requests, and employee performance evaluations. Additionally, you will oversee the hiring process and ensure the department is staffed with qualified and motivated professionals. Your leadership will extend to refining the onboarding and orientation processes for new pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and pharmacy techs, to ensure a seamless integration into the team. The team is seeking a Pharmacy Manager with previous leadership experience in a hospital pharmacy setting. A PharmD degree is preferred, and an MBA would be considered an asset. The successful candidate will have a strong hospital-based pharmacy background, along with a demonstrated ability to build and nurture relationships within a diverse team.
