Job Summary As an engineer on our team, you will work as part of a truly innovative, fun and growing team responsible for developing, testing and debugging our Cloud storage offerings. You will focus on the Customer 1st and foremost in all that you do, whether it is working through the full development cycle from design to Cloud deployment. You'll build quality into your code through unit and integration test development and continuous DevOps pipelines. Provide team and project technical leadership, mentor other engineers and participate in technical decisions. Work on additional tasks and responsibilities that will contribute towards team, department and company goals. Mastery of skills: Our environment is constantly changing therefore you will have the opportunity to expand your skill set and improve various technology proficiencies leading to transferable skills Job Requirements Advanced understanding of Golang 8 years of software development experience Ability to participate in and drive technical discussions with your team and other cross-functional teams. Experience with developing solutions for hyperscale environments. Experience interacting with and building web APIs. Experience with RESTful JSON RPC services. Experience writing automated tests and working with test-gated CI/CD pipelines. Experience with developing Kubernetes-based solutions. Experience working with containers in a build and test environment. Bonus skills (Nice to have, but not required): Experience with developing solutions with ONTAP Proficiency in UI development languages such as VUE, Angular or React. Experience working with Python Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Education A degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field. Compensation: The target salary range for this position is 161,100 - 226,490 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
