Adult Outpatient Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Locum Tenens Job County Jail in the California Bay AreaDetails/Requirements: Need starts ASAP x ongoing for one FTE.
100% adult patients.
All work takes place within the jail inmate housing units and clinic (outpatient).
Average 12-15 patients per day.
Combination of initial visits for assessment and ongoing renewals.
40 hours a week. Hours are 7:00am to 6:00pm, some are 8 or 10 hour shifts.
No call.
Electronic medical record system, so you must be computer savvy.
Takes approximately 2-4 weeks for credentialing.
Prefer six month minimum assignments, but the longer the assignment the better.
Prefers correctional or county jail work experience.
