Responsibilities Serves as a final reviewer or processor of actions, which may include but are not limited to: Research and draft responses to Legislative and IG inquiries, Evaluation Reports (NCOER/OER), accessions, promotions, reductions, discharges, etc. Researches and obtains all necessary, relevant information regarding cases and issues and provides explanations and interpretations of rules, regulations, procedures, and requirements pertaining to actions taken or recommended. Provides support to maintain a variety of automated systems and interfaces used to manage service members both locally and statewide. Participates in unit Soldier Readiness Processing (SRP), and in organizational inspection program. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications MILITARY GRADES: E1 through E6 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Administrative or clerical experience, education, or training which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: At least 12 months experience in the interpretation and application of regulations, procedures or laws; Experience that provided a working knowledge of administrative functions; Experience performing personnel transactions; Experience working independently and setting priorities with very little supervisory control? Education You may combine education with specialized experience to meet the length of experience requirement for GS-09. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. Courses must be at the graduate level. To qualify on education alone must have one of the following: master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related. To receive credit for Education, you must provide transcripts or documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
