Clean Harbors/Safety-Kleen is eagerly searching for a Regional Class A Tanker Driver to become a valued member of our safety-focused team! This exciting position involves driving from E. Chicago, IN to various locations across the Midwest, with an average of 1800-2200 miles per week .

About the role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize health and safety by following all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
• Operate tractor-trailer tanker units proficiently.
• Adhere to weight regulations and ensure proper use of vehicles.
• Manage the loading and unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous waste; secure loads appropriately.
• Placard vehicles according to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch reports, and vehicle inspection reports.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a Class A CDL.
• Minimum of 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• At least 3 months of tanker experience required.
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements are necessary.
• Ability to climb and work at heights.
• Capability to lift and carry over 50 lbs.
• Proficient use of mobile applications and computer software is essential.
