Senior Planner - Direct Hire

Location: Farmington Hills, MI

Salary Range: $85,000 – $105,000

Overview:

Our client is searching for a Senior Planner with over 5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, and inventory management to optimize manufacturing processes and meet production targets.

Must-Haves:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Planner or Production Scheduler role.
• Strong understanding of production planning and scheduling principles.
• Experience with inventory management and control.
• Proficiency with planning software and systems.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CPIM).
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles.
• Familiarity with advanced planning analytics and reporting tools.

Core Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all production planning and scheduling activities.
• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate supply.
• Implement planning strategies that align with the company's business objectives.
• Provide actionable insights, metrics, and decision support to the management team to drive informed business decisions.
