Coverage Needed

Schedule

• 7 on-7off
• Typically on-call Friday 5PM to next Friday 5PM
• Morning huddle at 8AM onsite, then complete consults when done (usually done between 3-5P)

Clinical Details

• Average of 5 consults on medical floor
• Patient ages: 18 years to geriatric
• Diverse patient population
• Inpatient Psychiatry
• Approx. 1-2 admissions per day
• 12 bed inpatient adult unit

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 18 months of residency
• Active PA License or IMLC

Call

• Friday 5p-Friday 5p
• Emergency Calls on a rotating basis on evenings, weekends and holidays
• Batch calls overnight when possible

Support Staff

• Liaison Nurse Team that fronts patients before calling psych, talks to the family
• 2 RN
• 3 LCSWs
• Psychiatric Counselor
• Hospitalist
