Integrated with our educational activities, these programs provide hands-on learning to equip our graduates with the skills they'll need as future advocates of children's health.nnThe Department of Pediatrics is a dynamic, stimulating place to work and because we are focused on growth and improved excellence, our faculty and staff have particularly challenging and rewarding roles.nnThe Department of Pediatrics at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital/Stanford University School of Medicine is recruiting a board eligible/board certified (BE/BC) Pediatrician to work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford (LPCHS) as a member of the Advanced Practice Provider and Hospitalist team. This clinically focused hospitalist faculty position is for a one-year term and may be eligible for an additional term for up to 1-3 years.nnYour responsibilities will include:nnProviding patient care in collaboration with attending physicians in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Contributing to teaching and acting as a liaison between nursing and medicine.nnTo be successful in this position, you will bring:nnAn MD/DO degree and Board Certification in Pediatrics, and either Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics and a California Medical License by the time of hire. The candidate will be appointed at the Instructor rank in the Clinical Educator Line.
