As a member of the HUGO BOSS Human Resources team, the Sr. Human Resources Generalist, DC provides support to all HR functions at our Distribution Facility in Midway Georgia, including talent review and acquisition, performance management, health & safety, organizational capability and design, compensation, employee relations, leadership development and training to deliver easy access, quality service. This role is 100% onsite.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
- Partner in managing projects, programs and practices that engage, inspire, and recognize workforce performance.
- Partner in implementing and communicating company policies and procedures and collecting bargaining agreement procedures to managers and team members.
- Ensure health and safety practices are being adhered to and meet compliance standards.
- Ensure all leave of absence and work compensation claims are managed timely and appropriately.
- Manage employee relation matters for the Office and Facility.
- Coach employees on policy and procedure applications, employment/labor laws, conflict resolution, and change management to promote a fair and equitable work environment.
- Facilitate HR administration, including initiatives based on changes in compliance regulations.
- Partner in implementing and overseeing the performance management process and other talent management processes, organizational assessment, learning strategies, and leadership development.
- Manage the recruitment process; place job postings, phone screen potential candidates, coordinate interviews with hiring managers, reference and background checks, rejection letters.
- Manage the New Hire Induction process for Corporate and Bargaining Unit team members.
- Partner with HR Director and VP of Distribution in working with internal departments to resolve complex HR issues.
- Maintain and update organization charts as needed.
- Create and maintain accurate job descriptions for every position, inclusive of Savannah Bargaining Unit positions.
- Manage labor, health & safety posters.
- Manage employee record compliance; Maintaining files.
- Complete employment verifications and letters of employment.
- Prepare all HR related documents for HRIS entry (PAFs) and SAP data input.
- Complete PAF's and PAFT's for all corporate employees
- Other duties, research, and special projects as assigned.
Your profile: - Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Psychology preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of Generalist experience, preferable Union experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong follow-up skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and maintain strong attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize work effectively.
- Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
- Ability to work with all levels of employees.
- Knowledge of HR employment related laws/practices.
- Proficient with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
