Hiring a female PSW to provide friendship and personal care for my adult sister. My sister is diagnosed with intellectual and physical disabilities. She requires full assistance with daily life tasks such as cooking, cleaning, bathing, and hygiene care (diapering). My sister is wheelchair bound and cannot walk or support her own weight. She is non-verbal but very funny, she has a great personality.

For the right candidate we are offering $20-25 an hour.

Requirements:Experience with a cieling track lift.Experience with bathing and hygiene care.Experience pushing a wheelchair.A valid G drivers license (must).A warm, patient, personality.Cooking skills.Activity planning skills an asset.Strong English language skills an ssset.

Shift:Saturdays 10:30am - 5:30pm

If you are a good candidate after a few shifts and my sister likes you we can discuss offering you more hours.

During the 7 hour shift my sister would need bathed, fed, have medication assistance, and be entertained. Entertainment can be baking, a craft, an outing, or just fun conversation. Any ideas you have to enhance her quality of life are welcome! My sister does have her own wheelchair vehicle which a reliable staff would be able to utilize for day trips with my sister.
