Salary: $210,000-$267,500 (1.0 FTE)

Position Summary

MMP Site Medical Manager (SMM)-Primary Care reports to and their work is overseen by the MMP Regional Medical Director and performs in collaboration as a dyad with the site Clinic Manager.

Essential Functions

  • Leads the clinical work of the clinic site or care area and is accountable for the management of the group of providers including engagement, provider performance reviews and adherence to MultiCare Medical Partners (MMP) cultural and other standards, bi-directional communication, and clinic performance.

  • Facilitates communication concerning the clinical work, metrics and performance improvement activities of the clinic and drives collaboration with administrative leaders, Clinic Managers, Regional Managers and Directors.

  • This role is operatively constructed in a formal Dyad relationship with the Clinic Manager, and clinic/care area providers functionally report to the SMM for clinical, operational, financial and behavioral standards and performance.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited medical school.
  • Licensure to practice medicine in Washington State as a physician and other associated credentials determined relevant by the MMA Chief Medical as applicable.
  • Board certification or similar accreditation in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Pediatrics.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred.
  • Completion of formal leadership training preferred.

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $210,000.00 - $325,000.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
