Overview Job Description New Job Title: Fork Lift Operator Lead Company: SBH Code: DC93004 Positions Reporting to this job: None Department: Distribution Centers Reports to (Title): Warehouse Supervisor or Manager Essential Function This job provides primary leadership to the stocking department and works with those they lead, to maintain a high level of accessibility, knowledge and resource for quick answers. Provides clear directions to the group. Primary Duties: Provide clear, concise statements using action verbs to describe what is done, with or for whom the action is taken and the purpose or outcome to be achieved. Responsibilities should be listed in order of percentage of time spent performing the actual duty. Monitors workflow and adjusts to changes by directing and guiding others in group in all areas involved in the movement of product from various locations and the utilization of various types of equipment to complete the tasks. Keeps their supervisor up-to-date with the progress of their department and any challenges that may arise. Responsible for daily workloads being completed. Continues to perform as an individual contributor completing advanced and complicated tasks requiring considerable judgment, independent analysis and decision making, and detailed knowledge of the position and procedures. May assist in training or retraining of new or current employees. Conducts oneself in a manner that portrays safety, productivity, and professionalism. Performs other duties as assigned or requested by management. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Indicate the minimum qualifications required to perform the job: work experience (including type of work and number of years required); education (including desired degree and field of study); specify certificate or license requirements.
