Torus Talent is a recruitment firm focused on technical talent. We partner with industry leading clients to fill roles in Construction Management, Engineering, and IT. Due to continued growth and client demands, we are seeking a dedicated recruiter to join our team.
This is a full-time, hybrid role with the opportunity to work from home one day per week after the initial four-week, fully on-site onboarding period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Crafting and posting engaging job descriptions to attract top-tier talent.
- Utilizing our ATS system and other tools to source and screen candidates.
- Scheduling and participating in interviews with candidates, both virtually and at client offices.
- Providing weekly reporting to update progress on recruitment efforts.
- Entering all information into our ATS promptly and accurately.
- Conducting reference checks and additional screening as required.
- Performing other duties to support recruitment efforts as assigned.
- Attending in-person networking events from time to time to strengthen relationships and expand the candidate pool.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- A Degree or Diploma from an accredited institute.
- 2+ years of experience in a client-facing role, such as recruitment, sales, or hospitality, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates.
- A people person with a friendly, approachable demeanor and strong communication skills.
- Ambitious and driven, with a passion for exceeding goals and taking initiative.
- Previous experience in both agency and in-house recruitment is a strong asset.
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys networking opportunities.
