Job Summary: The Design Team Purchasing position will include:

• Purchasing components and supplies for the company with a focus on the electromechanical design department
• Sourcing new components and suitable alternates for existing components
• Negotiating competitive pricing
• Regularly checking in on high-priority items to help meet deadlines
• Developing good working relationships with vendors, manufacturing partners, and other external parties while also holding them accountable for pricing and deadlines
• Working closely with vendors, supply chain, electromechanical design team, and other internal staff to verify all required components and supplies are available and procured when needed
• Identify supply chain problems, propose suitable solutions, implement the solutions, and maintain supply chain integrity
• The position may also include other tasks as required

Compensation: Annual compensation will start in the range of $75,000- $100,000 depending on applicant's experience, credentials, and performance.

Applicant Qualifications:

• Legally entitled to live and work in Canada
• Basic computer skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, and collaborate with staff and clients
• Good organizational skills
• Understanding of basic electrical components and mechanical hardware
• Maintain professionalism in the workplace, remain composed under pressure while meeting deadlines, maintain a regular schedule with occasional extended hours

Pay: $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
