We are looking for a Contract Full-Time Intake Coordinator for our Georgetown branch.
Key Job Functions
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of our services, eligibility of programs that we administer through Employment Ontario, and how we can support the individual needs of job seekers. With a focus on job seekers that have higher barriers and are furthest from the labor market which also includes individuals from inclusive groups, Youth at Risk, Indigenous, People with Disabilities, Newcomers to Canada, Black and racialized people.
- Responsible to greet and welcome all clients to the branch. Reach out and respond to all inbound inquiries through various portals and incoming telephone calls. Through active listening, you will access and respond to the jobseeker’s needs and provide a clear explanation of the free individual support that is provided through Employment Ontario.
- Complete eligibility questions, create client records from data gathered and schedule timely appointments with an Employment Counsellor (virtual/remote). Track and maintain client records ensuring open appointments are being filled and appropriate turnaround times are met. Follow up as required by conducting confirmation calls and or emails confirming appointments.
- Carry out other business initiatives and administrative tasks, as required.
