Dermatology Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient consultations, evaluations, and examinations
• Assist our Mohs surgeon as a 1st assist
• Perform punch, shave, and excisional biopsy procedures Conduct electrical destruction and cryosurgery for both benign and malignant lesions as needed
• Provide patient education and guidance on skincare and preventive measures
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Dermatology Nurse Practitioner Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in general medical dermatology and Mohs 1st assist surgical excision, punch biopsies, and suturing
• Valid and active Georgia License
• Strong foundational knowledge of Mohs dermatology principles and practices
• Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills
• Ability to work independently and autonomously
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain patient confidentiality
