What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree (Doctorate preferred).
  • Licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • Completed state-required CEU requirements.
  • CPR License.
  • Experience with EMR software preferred.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong clinical decision-making abilities.
  • 1+ years of professional OT experience.
  • Excellent work ethic with a determination for patient success.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member and independently.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor.

What You'll Do:

  • Record patient care data following guidelines from regulatory agencies and insurance payers.
  • Prepare for evaluations, gathering comprehensive patient histories, and research as needed.
  • Administer tests and synthesize evaluation results to create effective treatment plans.
  • Establish and modify treatment plans collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team and patients.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their support systems.
  • Implement functional training programs covering ADLs/IADLs and therapeutic activities.
  • Assist in neurological, musculoskeletal, and other intervention plans.
  • Oversee support staff, including COTAs and aides.
  • Engage in community outreach through presentations and lectures.
  • Demonstrate respect and professionalism in all interactions.
