Locums - Williamsport, PA, ENT Job
  • Clinical Role:

    • Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible ENT
    • Need coverage for provider going on leave
    • January 6th at 5 a.m. until January 10th at 7 p.m.
    • February 2nd at 7 p.m. until February 7th at 5 p.m.
    • February 10th at 5 p.m. until February 13th at 5 p.m.
    • February 23rd at 5 p.m. until February 28th at 5 p.m.
    • March a.m. until March 7th at 7 p.m.
    • March 24th at 3 a.m. until March 28th at 12 p.m (March 24th may change to 5 p.m. start)
    • Prefer someone with PA license but will consider a provider without if they are the right fit. Want a physician with enough experience to function independently as we will not have any other ENT physicians for them to consult with here
    • Need provider to cover 24/7 on call as well as seeing patients in the office Monday through Friday and/or conducting surgeries at ASC
    • Support APPs in the office with any questions that may arise during the course of the day or consult on patients
    • Start date will be around the beginning of January with provider due to go on leave around January 7th and will end around the end of March 2025 dependent on when provider goes out on leave
    • We need someone capable of doing at least general ENT cases but will need to oversee nosebleed patients, packing removals, trach care for patients as well as nasal fractures and abscesses that present to the office or hospital
    • Provider would see patients in the clinic between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Would provide general ENT care as well as see patients that require surgical intervention. These cases would be scheduled between Monday and Friday within the ENT block time
    • On call response would be 24/7 while they are here and can include in person consult as well as e-consults. Provider would be working with APP's in the office and consulting on cases
    • Appointments in the office would be scheduled in 30 minute time slots unless an overbook is needed to work an urgent patient in. These are discussed with the provider
    • Level II Trauma Center
    • # Providers Needed: Enough to cover 3 weeks per month from January to March
    • Type of Practice: Free-Standing Clinic
