VeloSource has an Emergency Medicine Opportunity in Williston, ND.

• Shift Description: days; 7a-7p; nights 7p-7a
• Weekend Requirements
• No call
• Current schedule is 2 providers per 24 hours working 12 hour shifts. Coverage is supplemented with employed APPs that work 10a-10p.
• 1.5-2 patients per hour on average
• 12 hours of mid-level assistance during peak hours
• Must be comfortable with all ages
• A minimum of 250 case logs in the last year
• The state of ND requires ATLS for any EM provider practicing in the state
• Must be comfortable with all procedures (Intubations, Chest Tubes, Central Lines, Critical Care, Procedural Sedation, Airway Management OB/GYN and Deliveries, Adult and Pediatric resuscitation).
• Feels more like a big hospital, but it's actually a critical access hospital. A lot of support staff that you find at a bigger hospital.
• Mid-levels work 12 hours a day 10-10p. On Mondays, they have 2 APPs due to higher census.
• Must have PALS, ATLS, ACLS, DEA
• Board Certified - ABEM required
• Active ND license or IMLC required - license preferred
• Travel Covered: flight, hotel, rental car; mileage
