The ZS is responsible for all aspects of customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance, with primary focus on their assigned store zone.nnPrimary Responsibilities:nnMerchandising responsibilities in assigned zone.nnAssist with training new Zone Specialists.nnBe knowledgeable of all promotions and advertisements to ensure that customer questions can be answered and to assist with selling product; support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs throughout the year.nnMaintain assigned zone in a neat and organized fashion.nnAssist with pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.nnCommunicate customer needs to Team Leaders when necessary.nnMaintain the cleanliness of the overall store.nnComplete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.nnQualifications:nnMinimum of six months’ retail experience in a mid-size to large retail service-oriented business preferred.nnAbility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.nnAbility to communicate effectively.nnAbility to exercise sound judgment.nnAbility to preserve confidentiality of information.nnAccuracy and attention to detail.nnAbility to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks and activities and work within strict timeframes and deadlines.nnKnowledge of industry terms and processes.nnOutstanding interpersonal and listening skills.nnMust have a positive attitude and the ability to interact well with customers and Associates.nnPhysical Requirements:nnAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.nnAbility to push and pull up to 35 pounds.nnAbility to stand for extended periods.nnAbility to bend and twist frequently.nnAbility to grip, reach, and pinch with arms and hands frequently.nnAbility to squat, kneel, balance, and climb ladders occasionally.nnAbility to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.nnOllie’s is an equal opportunity employer.
