Schedule Information Contract Length: 13 weeks Start: 12/30 or 1/13 - Bi-weekly orientation Shift Requirement: 12hr Nights 6:30-7 Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Three weekends out of every six-week schedule. Every other holiday. Unit Specific Information Patient Population: Combination of medical and surgical patients, no cardiac heavy. Confusion/BH/CIWA, CHF, COPD, UTI, cellulitis, sepsis, amputations, decubitis ulcers, general surgeries. Skillset: IV fluid/antibiotic therapies, strong medical/post-surgical assessment, heparin gtts., wounds/wound vacs, basic tele. Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): 32 beds, increasing to 37 January 2025. Unit Strengths: New leadership brought in to lead unit, amazing teamwork, and experienced charge nurses. Deaconess Midtown (IN) campus (8 miles apart) & potential to float to Deaconess Henderson (KY – 11 miles). 2 HR notice given for cross campus float. Mid-shift float within same campus.
