Locums - Ironwood, Michigan, Family Medicine Opening (IMLC Accepted)

  • Scheduled Clinic Hours + Call
  • Preferred 6 month committment
  • Clinic 8-5
  • No weekends/nights call unless the physician is able to help with "peds" call
  • Hospital admits/nursery
  • Volume small. 100 deliveries/year very minimal peds admits
  • Willing to accept adult medicine only if available
  • Peds would be a small portion of the clinic panel
  • Call only if the locums is FP and able to perform "peds/nursery call for the hospital"
  • Minimal admits for Peds and about 100 birth/year, volume is small but OB program needs Peds coverage for the infants
  • Well Womens Health exams preferred, not mandatory
  • 3-6 months ideal
  • Patients Per Shift: 12 - 25
  • Facility will accept multiple providers
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible
  • Active MI License or IMLC
  • Trauma Level IV
  • BLS - Required
  • EMR: Epic
  • Call Type: Beeper
  • Call Response Time Required: 30 minutes
