Position: Aviation Training Manager
Our client is seeking an Aviation Training Manager to lead the design and execution of impactful training programs for aircraft maintenance professionals. This role ensures employees are skilled, compliant, and aligned with operational goals, driving excellence across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Revamp and oversee training programs to meet 14 CFR part 145 standards.
- Develop and implement training for airframe, engine, and avionics topics.
- Facilitate engaging sessions, including "train the trainer" programs.
- Conduct skills assessments to identify gaps and training needs.
- Create training matrices to guide skill development.
- Maintain compliance through effective record-keeping systems.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and drive continuous improvements.
- Collaborate with leadership to align training with business goals.
- Leverage external vendors and modern learning techniques to enhance programs.
Qualifications
- Experience managing training programs in aviation or a regulated industry.
- Strong knowledge of 14 CFR part 145 training requirements.
- Leadership skills with expertise in facilitation and instructional design.
- Ability to design effective training matrices and conduct skills assessments.
- Experience collaborating with external vendors.
