Dispatcher Key Responsibilities:
1. Scheduling and Dispatching:
- Schedule and dispatch roll-off container deliveries, swaps, and pickups.
- Prioritize and assign tasks to drivers based on customer needs, location, and time constraints.
- Monitor driver progress throughout the day to ensure timely service.
2. Customer Service:
- Communicate with customers to confirm service requests and address inquiries or issues.
- Provide accurate service estimates and updates to customers.
- Handle emergency service requests and resolve customer complaints professionally.
3. Route Optimization:
- Plan and optimize routes to maximize efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Adjust routes and schedules in response to changing conditions, such as traffic or last-minute customer requests.
- Utilize dispatch software and GPS systems to track vehicle locations and route progress.
4. Record-Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of service orders, customer interactions, and driver logs.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed and submitted timely, including service tickets and compliance documentation.
- Prepare and distribute daily routes and reports.
5. Communication and Coordination:
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure equipment and personnel availability.
- Communicate with drivers to provide instructions, updates, and support.

- Ensure all dispatch activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
