Rental Operations Representative

The Rental Operations Representative is part of our Rental Unit which centralizes all rental needs for 1st and 3rd party customers. Rental Operations Representative is responsible for creating and managing all aspects of our rental reservations in accordance with State requirements . The ideal candidate will excel in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all clients. What You’ll Do
- Actively listen to customers and engage with them positively, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with customers, claimants, repair vendors, agents, etc.
- Read and interpret insurance policies, state regulations, and damage appraisal estimates to determine appropriate rental coverage and timelines.
- Manage and update appropriate systems such as ClaimsPro, Enterprise’s ARMs system, Hertz’s Rental system, etc.
- Adheres to privacy guidelines, law, and regulations pertaining to claims handling.
- Required to obtain needed licenses within the first 90 days.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience You’ll Need
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is not required but would be considered a plus.
- Prior customer service experience is preferred but not required.

- Excellent reading skills with the ability to follow a script, but also think independently.
- Strong ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations with patience and tact.
- Ability to handle a high volume of calls within time standards while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and learning in customer service practices.
