We are a fast-growing B-to-B media company seeking a Head of Digital to oversee the management and optimization of our digital platforms, advertising, and subscription products.
This pivotal role requires someone with a strong technical background who can code, manage a small team, and has a proven history of building successful digital products. Participation in hackathons or similar innovative experiences is a plus.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in advising senior management on strategies to enhance user experience, drive financial performance, and execute significant digital initiatives.
We are looking for a data-driven leader with exceptional organizational and communication skills, capable of fluently navigating multiple systems. This role will require a collaborative, hands-on approach to product development while fostering a culture of innovation and respect within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the digital platforms, including website functionality, advertising operations, and subscription monetization.
- Lead the development and launch of new revenue-generating products from ideation to deployment.
- Define company goals for revenue, subscriber growth, and traffic alongside senior management and develop strategies to meet these targets.
- Drive major digital initiatives such as launching a new website and deploying a company-wide data warehouse.
- Manage ad operations to ensure the effective delivery of advertising campaigns while optimizing revenue opportunities.
- Oversee customer service to enhance subscriber experience and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Supervise the account management function, supporting Ad Sales with campaign reporting and ad performance benchmarking.
- Lead a team of developers responsible for maintaining the website, including content updates, feature coding, troubleshooting, and optimizing site performance.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to implement subscription, sales, and event marketing programs.
- Consult with Sales leaders on campaign strategy and participate in client calls as needed.
- Build and maintain relationships with external technology partners and platforms.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years of product leadership experience with a demonstrated record of success.
- Proficient in coding and technical development, with experience building and deploying digital products.
- Deep understanding of the digital advertising and subscription landscape.
