Responsibilities - Provide specialized nursing care to newborns including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and supporting infants with complex medical needs such as prematurity, respiratory distress, or congenital conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including neonatologists, pediatricians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for infants and provide emotional support and education to families.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards in neonatal care, maintaining meticulous documentation, and staying current with best practices in neonatal nursing including advanced life support and infant resuscitation techniques.
Qualifications Education:
- Diploma from an RN program.
License(s)/Certification(s):
- Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state.
- Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state.
- Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Must obtain Neonatal Resuscitation program (NRP)
- Must obtain and maintain Sugar and safe care, Temperature, Airway, Blood pressure, Lab work, and Emotional support (S.T.A.B.L.E.)
