Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Med Surg
Location: Portsmouth, NH
Pay Scale: $1,450 - $1,550 per week
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Responsibilities - Provide nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical unit, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
- Assist with patient assessments and contribute to care planning under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
- Perform wound care, IV insertion, and other necessary nursing interventions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and progress notes.
- Educate patients and their families on care plans, treatments, and post-discharge instructions.
Requirements - Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an LPN in Med Surg (required).
- BLS certification (required).
- IV certification (required).
- Active LPN license in New Hampshire or compact state (required).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
