Purpose: This role supports Merchandise, Planning, and Allocation (MP&A) initiatives by connecting teams with their data. The individual in this position will improve efficiency by developing scalable analytics solutions for Excel, MicroStrategy, and Snowflake -based reporting tool. The goal is to enhance productivity through streamlining and automating processes where appropriate. This is a high-visibility role with key stakeholder partnerships across all levels of the MP&A and Business Intelligence teams. If this sounds like your kind of adventure, read on!



Core Responsibilities :

  • Manage reporting initiatives: Oversee MicroStrategy and Excel reporting efforts. Write business requirements, design and test new reports, collaborate with stakeholders for user acceptance testing (UAT), and facilitate project stand-ups and sprint planning.
  • Administer Excel-based Assortment Planning tool: Collaborate with Merchants and Planners to identify upgrade features, develop data pipeline updates, perform QA testing, guide UAT committees, and use macros to roll out changes to production. Provide tech support via email tickets, training sessions, and a knowledge base.
  • Leverage MP&A tools: Have a deep understanding of how MP&A tools drive decision-making, as well as other functions' tools (e.g., ERP systems).
  • Ensure data integrity: Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to ensure Snowflake data sources are accurate through the data pipeline.
  • Prepare business reports: Create weekly business reports for senior management and ad-hoc reports as needed.
  • Process Improvement: identify opportunities to streamline workflows and increased efficiencies
  • Additional responsibilities: Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.



Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM/Computer Science preferred. Or 4+ years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s
  • 2+ years minimum experience in Merchandise, Planning, Allocation, or Retail Analytics related functions including driving a multi-channel business through assortment planning, allocation, project management, or analytics decisions.
  • Expert level Excel with intermediate VBA coding skills.
  • Proven ability to translate business metrics into actionable insights and create standardized reporting tools.
  • Exposure to SQL querying and knowledge of Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms. Familiarity with Python, R or similar scripting languages is a plus
  • Experience working with MicroStrategy (or other business intelligence packages e.g. Tableau).
  • Familiar with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to clearly communicate between both business and technical teams.
  • Ability to be proactive working with limited supervision in an ambiguous environment.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems a plus.
  • Limited Travel may be required, based on business needs.
  • Adhere to regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration. Job duties may be performed effectively using the hybrid work program designated by the company.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor as the company retains the right to change duties to this position.
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States.



Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards and Company’s policy.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to constantly operate a computer, other office equipment and look at a monitor for up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to clearly and accurately communicate and exchange information verbally, in writing, or through other means in person, telephonically, or through virtual communication methods
  • Ability to position self to reach at or below shoulder level


The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to position offered and work experience.
